Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actor. Her fame was boosted by her roles in AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until the year 2020. Her commercial appearances were not the only thing she was involved in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and was a regular in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. Due to financial difficulties within her family, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school after her sophomore years. She earned a GED and obtained an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
